Privacy Notice

1. Who we are
AutoRevivalHeadlightsRestoration ("Auto Revival", "we", "us"), based in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, operates this website and the mobile headlight restoration service offered on it. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice — we decide what is collected and why. Contact us any time at 647-807-6856.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact details (name, phone number, email address) — to confirm your booking, contact you about the appointment, and send you a confirmation or receipt.
- Service location (the address or place where you want the work done) — so we can travel to you and perform the service.
- Vehicle details (year, make, model) and service preferences and notes — to quote correctly and prepare the right materials.
- Appointment and payment status (date, time, price, whether payment was received, and the payment reference from our provider) — to run our schedule and keep accurate records.
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, basic usage logs) — collected automatically by our hosting platform for security, fraud prevention and to keep the site working.
We do not collect or store your card details. Card data is collected and processed by Paddle.
3. Legal basis
We process your contact, location, vehicle and appointment data to perform our contract with you (providing the service you booked). We process technical and security data on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and functioning. Where we ask for your consent — for example to send you optional marketing — you can withdraw it at any time. We also process data where required by law, such as retaining tax records.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers / subprocessors — our website hosting, database and email delivery providers, which store and transmit booking data on our behalf.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record — for the sale of our service, payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing and refund handling.
- Professional advisers — accountants or legal advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. International transfers
Our hosting, database, email and payment providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the provider's equivalent commitments.
6. How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service, honour our refund policy and warranty commitments, and meet Canadian tax and accounting obligations — generally up to seven years for records relating to a paid service. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted or anonymised once they are no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and equivalent laws that may apply to you, you can ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is inaccurate, delete it where we no longer need it, restrict or object to certain processing, provide it in a portable form, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Call or text 647-807-6856 and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the UK or EEA.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls that restrict booking data to the business owner and our own secure server code, and reputable providers for payment and email.
9. Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies and local browser storage needed to make the booking form and secure checkout work — for example remembering an in-progress booking so you can finish paying. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Paddle sets its own essential cookies during checkout. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the booking flow may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked.
